Our Community Projects Committee is committed to collecting and distributing new and gently used items to shelters throughout the year. Being homeless or displaced is a sad reality for up to 3,000 individuals in Edmonton alone.  WICS wants to offer a helping hand to those in need in the community where and as we can.

Our donation box is located just inside the office door, to the right.  Shelters are always in need of, clothing, hygiene products, bedding, water bottles, notebooks, reusable bags ...  Please consider stopping by, saying hello, and leaving a donation in our box.  Thank you!

WICS is Proud!

Our customer Andre had an ART EXHIBIT at the

Nina Haggerty Centre for the Arts on Friday, October 28th.

Andre is a French speaking artist at the Nina Haggerty Center for the Arts.

He works in printmaking, painting, and the fabric studio.
Andre often paints portraits of people or animals and landscapes. Much of his work is inspired by nature and his surroundings. He is a very vocal artist working with vibrant colors and gestural marks. His work is very energetic much like himself. His monotypes grace the studio walls at the Nina and were exhibited in Glasgow, Scotland in 2018.
