Part-Time Community Relief Support
​We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Community Relief Support worker.
In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals within the community, assisting them with daily living activities and promoting their independence. You will work closely with customers, offering personalized care and helping to improve their overall quality of life.
Hourly Rate: $20.66 - $23.48

Key Responsibilities:

Assist customers with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.

Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals.

Support customers in achieving their personal goals and enhancing their independence.

Transport customers to appointments, community activities, and errands as needed.

Prepare reports or case histories, and manage administrative and office activities.

Appraise customers' needs or eligibility for specific services and conduct social research.

Assess customers' relevant skills, strengths, and development needs, including follow-up assessments.

Develop, coordinate, and implement the delivery of specific services within the community.

Provide suicide and crisis intervention and resolve conflict situations.

Liaise with other social services agencies and healthcare providers involved with customers.

Assist customers with special needs and accompany them to appointments and social outings.

Perform housekeeping activities and food preparation.

Weight Handling:

Ability to lift and handle up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Qualifications:

Must have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for transporting customers.

Experience in community support or a similar role is an asset.
